Preorders go up tomorrow for our next release.  This is a EP on CD format.  They will be 5.99 + 2.50 shipping in the US.  They are limited to 500 copies Hand-Numbered.  Really excited about this one.  These guys and gal are amazing and the sky is the limit for them.  

Eyes On Me and Broken Heart Records are teaming up to press “My Best Idea” on vinyl.   The vinyl will be limited to 300 copies.  Fan will be able to help us accomplish this goal.  We have start a campaign to raise money for the vinyl pressing. There are some amazing rewards, including preordering the vinyl release.

Eyes On Me are an Indie/Pop/Punk/Alt. band based out of Lynchburg VA. But all hail from the New York tristate area. They have honed their sound taking what they learned in their strong home punk rock scene. Eom has toured the upper east coast in support of their ep. “My Best Idea”

Founded by Larry Parish and Chris Miles, “Broken Heart Records” was created in the winter of 2012 with a specific goal in mind. The label wanted to press vinyl for bands they love. BHR gives fans the opportunity to expand their vinyl collections by working to press records not previously available. Each step of the vinyl process is very important to BHR, and they consult with the bands before any final decisions are made.

The label first worked with Socratic to reissue Lunch for the Sky as well as press their self-titled album on vinyl last summer. Next, they approached Abel to release Make it Right. Both bands arranged vinyl release shows to support the Albums and encourage fans to listen to more records. Day at the Fair is also working with the label to release The Rocking Chair Years and a new untitled EP. In addition to pressing vinyl, BHR has collaborated on a compilation cd project titled Unsigned|Unrest to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Broken Heart Records recognizes the need to work with both established and less known bands, and hopes to continue to have a positive impact on music.

They are worshiped for their innate ability to cause havoc, concern authorities, and leave destruction and laughter in their wake. Introducing: Northern Whale from Youngstown, OH

These guys are a great addition to the comp cd with their simple garage style rhythms and their fun punk antics.

Northern Whale is an Alternative/Indie Rock band from Austinown, OH formed by Jake Stephens (bass, keyboards, and vocals), Jake Capezzuto (vocals and guitar) and Brandon Fisher (lead guitar) in 2009. Seth Donchess (drums) joined the group in late 2011.

The band has been on a marathon of live gigs since 2010 playing in such venues and Music Festivals as The House of Blues - Cleveland, VEX Fest - Youngstown, Ballyhoo Music Festival - Youngstown, Waterstreet Music Hall and Market Place Mall - Rochester, NY, JB’s - Kent, The Cellar - Struthers, Warren Amphitheater - Warren, among many others (listed on last page).

In the summer of 2012, their new single “When I Arrived” held a steady place in the top 10 unsigned artists on the nationally syndicated radio program “Radio Cafe”, holding the #1 spot 3 weeks straight.
Their single “They Take It All” is currently at #2 on that same program.

On Sept 8, 2012, they performed at Rockapalooza at the Cuyahoga Fair Grounds with such acts as Attack Attack!! and The Devil Wears Prada.

Northern Whale will have two tracks on the CD compilation Unsigned | Unrest where 100% net proceeds will benefit St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They will be releasing an EP in May of 2013.
